What credos are you doing that require 17 daily suicides? Me thinks you might be doing it wrong. But concerning the idea itself: I'm not familiar with shrines so I dont know enough about it to say I support or oppose the idea. Would making shrines inheritable make shrines OP? If no, I'm all for it. If yes, then I oppose.

Don't think this is a bug to be honest. Numen is tied to your character and so are ancestral shrines. It has been like that ever since legacy. Also why are you using ancestral worships on a character you're trying to get credo's on? No matter what the stats are going to be trashed by the end of it.

after finish credo u go to swim, and successor have 10 quests (not 20) on next credo
after u finish next one. until corpse not get into skeleton. u could get 7+9numen to save skull and get back 12% stats instead 10% (bury skull)

already have 3 Shrine not used by anyone

so you are exploiting inheritance mechanics to bypass the credo scaling difficulty and have the nerve to cry that your exploit isnt effective enough?

Any ideas how to remove incentive to suicide characters to make Credos easier?

Number of credo player has can serve as milestone for next credo when player inheriting.

Yo, read the patch notes. It was explicitly implemented this way. Of course people are going to do it this way. The theory, I think, was more forgoing real character development due to the "somewhat frequent" deaths they'd be experiencing. However, with the state funerals, it may not be as severe in practice as it looks on paper.

And pretty sure that Ancestral Shrines were inherited in legacy. It's not on wiki, and it's been a while, so my memory of it may have faded enough I'm overwriting facts from one thing onto another. That they don't have this functionality--since it was given to study desks--was an oversight, I think.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

scale are too hard, 170 nomad quests = half year (same with mystic credo), don't sure everyone will glad to try this
remove suicide profit (skullcup, credo stepback, STR ancestors buff)
make +5 quest scale (not +10) and if here will be way to not make 20 quests per stage, i'll take it

\\
as option:
make quests difficult metter.
more quests = less difficult
or make them depends from stats (will/lore/psy/surv) more stats = less difficult.
atm its rnd machine with stepback button (get 1 LP stat or study 90hrs curio... depends only on ur luck)
same with numen quests, it not depends on numen count or etc, and sometimes asks TimeToken for 1 numen
