Something is wrong with the garden, transplanted after ripening every day, farming 1200, periodically the quality of the plants deteriorates (seen on the salad).

There's a random factor on everything you grow. Sometimes they will drop in quality. Over generations, you do get quality increase, but the change between one planting and the next may be a decrease.

There is a growing suspicion that random factor has been recently adjusted towards downside.
But I also got a series of harvests with quality going down. Could be a nasty case of bad luck though.
But also, mitigating quality growth that way could be a good thing for game balance.
