Quest to eat spitroasted badger meat?

Is it even possible to spitroast badger?

Ah thanks, looks like I had to put it on the spit before skinning.

That doesn't make sense, though. For other animals you not only skin but also clean them before spitroasting them. Seems very counterintuitive if you can't spitroast a skinned badger.
