River pearl muscles

have over 4700 perc X explo, pretty sure since the last update i've been muscle hunting every day and from what i've seen muscles no longer spawn in lakes they only spawn in rivers now, is this intended?

River Pearl Mussels only showing up in rivers?

they used to spawn in lakes though, was just wondering if it got changed since i didnt see any update for it.

I'm very sure that they only, or primarily spawn in rivers now.

Can confirm they ONLY spawn in rivers, though rivers can sometimes exist in lakes (shallows that outline the river extending more than a little bit into a lake/bordering the lake in such a way as to appear as part of the lake)

there is no such item as "river pearl muscle" added to the game, but there are river pearl mussels ,which you can find in shallow water

of course they can be found in rivers, that's why they are called river pearls mussels!
