Made from Dill (213%)

Postby Rendercat » Fri Apr 19, 2019 5:18 pm

I killed a badger a few hours ago and recently skinned/butchered it. All parts except the bones were Made from Dill (213%). Roasted a piece of the meat and it remained Made from Dill (213%).

It is simply a dill-fed badger.

When you roast the meat of said badger does the meat give you some ridiculous stats, or are different when butchered with a different sharp tool?

For example, you butcher a single piece of meat with that tool that gave you the dill, and another piece from a standard issue stone axe and roast both pieces. If the stats aren't the same... it looks like the exploit is not over and the items used for the exploiting have been sent across the world for a permanent effect.

I have no badger meat to compare but you are correct about the axe being the cause. I found the axe in flotsam before the announcement thread was made, I didn't notice any buffs on it at the time but it shows a Made from Dill (427%) buff. Split branches show Dill percentage when done with said axe. A new stone axe made with these branches also keeps the Made from Dill (427%) completely. Comparing the branches split from normal and dill axe of same quality shows no q difference.

EDIT: Tested on a Boar, see image for results. I could not get axes to be the exact same q but Dill infused, lower q axe gives better meat.

Find an animal to kill so you can harvest the meat.

Craft a normal axe.

Harvest a single piece of meat from said animal with normal axe.
Harvest another single piece of meat from said animal with dill axe.

Cook them both (Roasting them).

Compare stats.

I am interested in seeing the FOOD FEPS this gives. Essentially, you may be imbuing the meat you harvest with free FEPS (Dill related) while harvesting with that specific axe. Hence the need to get a non-exploited one to see if when you cook a piece harvested by your exploited axe and a piece from a normally crafted one, if the FEPS remain the same.

Included my results in the edit above. Also of note, it has no effect on any small animals such as squirrels.
