Herder is super hard to complete if you live near ocean line, quests to tether animals on far islands without possibility to sail with animals is a pain.

Not a real BUG, but i think it's not intended.

Theres ways around it of course, but fuck. Quest to tether animals to distant trees should be removed now that oceans exist.

island dwellers are supposed to suffer, just like needing a well for fresh water in some cases.

Read again, it's a problem for continents - guess only way to completly avoid that is to live at the center of continent.

ah yeah well near ocean line I read as island, the fact that we cannot raft animal now is unintended and already confirmed previously by devs.

also when progressing to a next credo task, where you are in the world is relevant.

may not apply to this, but maybe handy to keep in mind if you have a list of tasks, keep ''make lore artificat'' for example until last task so you can do it at your base and the credo quest will be in proximity.
one time I had to study something and it completed when boating away somewhere far and then had to bring an item to a tree on the continent I was boating on... so instant abandon haha

Any unintended state is a bug. It may not be a critical, game ending bug, but it's still something that needs fixed. Same has been said about Nomad. It's just going to take some time to get it working properly.
