Stuck in deep water (and dead) after jumping off a cliff

Hello, a few minutes ago I jumped from a cliff directly into deep water. The character started to swim but was unable to move. I also had the time to toggle swimming on, since the stamina was decreasing very slowly, but I was still unable to move, I could neither move to the very near shallow water nor to climb the cliff back

This is like the third or fourth instance of this happening this world.

Just because you're falling into water doesn't mean it's not going to hurt. Looks like your hearthling broke its arms and legs from jumping from that height and then promptly drowned.

Hello. excuse me for my english. I have a similar problem. I jumped to the ground by the river (at least it seemed to me) to enter the cave, and after a while I began to sink. The result was the death of the character.
