Since we have a bunch of bug-reports about item uses without items itself (like quests for cave fern before the cave fern was actually implemented), I think it is appropriate to make a bug-report about item implemented before any uses.
Remove it until it is done.

Indeed, the polish must be removed from the game at earliest convenience.
