Not a bug.

Perfect autumn leaves that drop from Leaf Piles do not have minimap icon, and I believe this was done intentionally, since they are not a map item forageable (unlike the ones you have to manually 'Pick') they are a dropped item. Would blueberries or WWWs you personally drop on the ground have a minimap icon?

I see no reason why they should change this, except maybe giving Pick-able Perfect Autumn leaves a different model from their dropped-on-the-ground counterparts as most forageables would.

But you receive research point for picking it up. And I personally treat it as a bug, as it should be map forageable, despite whatever they did it. Devs can do mistakes, you know.
