Does quarryman credo still give quality bonus?

Sorry if Im just stupid and not understanding things correctly, last night I finished the quarryman credo and started noticing that stones Im mining having weird qualities. I usualy check if I hard cap the stones Im mining out to see if more masonry is needed, but today when Im calculating the quality it started to show decimals before the softcap from my axe and my understanding is that decimals does not naturaly occur from cave walls. Or is it something else that Im missing?

no, it doesn't- if it does still it might be a bug (considering the credo already has a bug, plausible)
