Chickens are laying sub par eggs....

Postby Morrighan » Thu Apr 29, 2021 11:17 pm

My hen and cock are q10
swill is q24
water is q31
Farming is 40
Eggs are being laid at q6 or q7 :(

As chicken coops do not have a quality, why are the eggs so low?

That would make the softcap q27.5. After 5 eggs they are still only q6 or q7 Even if the hen and cock are q10 there should be a better chance of gettin, at the least, a base q 10 egg.

A small advice for you is to also get some better quality starting chickens. I've seen q20-30+ chickens in the wild. Starting with those will save you a lot of time.

Surprisingly I am in an area that finding chickens, let alone higher q ones, in the wild is rare. But Moles are a dime a dozen, too bad they are not breedable...
