Leashed Aurochs Dies

Yesterday I leashed an auroch to a hitching post. This morning before work I log in to find it has died close to the hitching post. My gates were closed, I live alone as a hermit. I have the only keys in and out of the place. Even then there was no scents anywhere. It had not even entered its first combat stance yet.

How did it die in a closed locked pally?

It was moved into the composter to make more mulch.

Not much of a loss, went and got another to start the process.

I asked the brain trust on discord, and the only thing made sense is a map glitch, got stuck, and died from not being able to eat.

Wondering if anyone else seen this?

That's what I thought as well. Just can't wrap my head around this one.

The last 3 options is Jorb/Loftar killing random things, aliens land kill, then fly away, or Jorb has secretly added wounds to animals that we dont know about and need a new skill to see and cure.
