Willow Weep and Blunt Trauma

Whenever I apply Willow weep to my blunt trauma and go to bed, I wake up with 2 blunt trauma wounds, one still healing, and a new, fresh one. The total of both of them are also bigger than the original wound.

Okay so it doesn't make the wound bigger, but it just turns Blunt Trauma into Blunt Trauma so ?????
