If you push the ball exactly along the line between two tiles it goes through the hitboxes.

Tested it with Stone Fence, Palisade and chest hitboxes. I'm assuming it goes through everything.

Same reason why a wrecking ball will only hit air when aiming it right between two wall parts. There ain't nothing there.

... Any tiny gap is big, if you have no size(check) ...
