Unfired Garden Pots despawn in moments

I bulk crafted Garden Pots and left some on the ground. Turns out, Unfired Garden Pots despawn when dropped in exactly 65 seconds, making them perhaps the quickest despawning item ever. Seems like an oversight and is kind of annoying.
