Mouse clicks stopped working on everything outside of menus.

I play Haven and Hearth on Steam. I’ve been grinding for weeks now and out of nowhere I’ve hit this wall. My mouse has stopped working outside of selecting options from the various menus. I’ve noticed this problem occurred for others and I’ve tried various methods to fix, but the problem persists. Does anyone have a solid fix for this that’s easily explained?

Stop playing it through Steam. I encountered that upon many other issues while playing this through steam and once I went back to the original way, not a single issue in sight.

But, if you dont want to stop using Steam, you'll just have to close the game and relaunch every time it happens

So I’ve got the original client and Enders client downloaded but I’m having the same problem on both. Even after the servers being down this morning for debugging. Is there another work around?

Update: I’ve done a full factory reset of my computer and redownloaded and installed the necessary software and clients and my problem was resolved. If anyone else comes across this issue, doing this may help like it did for me. I won’t guarantee a fix but try this if nothing else works for you. Good luck out there Hearthlings.

this is like murder to win an argument. technically it works, and if it loses the argument, you were always going to lose anyways. but nobody is going ro take 'just kill them' as debate advice.

This is totally outrageous. Nobody needs to do this so don't suggest it as a work around.

I had issues like this, and issues where keyboard shortcuts stop working and I found the fix to be just spamming escapes until it started working lol. It would act like there was an open window taking priority of things and escape would close it.
