The worst monsters in the Hearthlands warp the fabric of space and time...

Scorpions. Interruption of the battle. Many in one place.

I don't know if this is a bug or is supposed to be like this, but:

1. Interruption of the battle.
If you press "pick up" a scorpion from afar, when you approach it, even if it starts attacking you, you put it in your backpack. The fight ends.

2. Many in one place.
In some places, there are large clusters of scorpions in one spot. I noticed this on the "cursed orange sand" and in small, narrow patches of thickets (or dark forest).

That terrain called badlans - even in patch Jorb says scorpions are abundant in badlands.

It's not about quantity, it's about what they are appear at one point and only then diverge. Is 10+ scorpions at 1 point normal? Not in the entire territory, but from 1 point.
It's like when you come to a swamp, and all the frogs\dragonflies\turtles appear at one point and only then disperse throughout the swamp.
I also wrote above that this is probably how it should be, but it looks like an incorrect respawn.

It looks like aurochs and wood grouse hens/cocks spawn in a similar manner, so it's probably by design

Ye I was running around on a fresh alt and suddenly 8 scorpions flew out of a thicket and chased me
Luckily they're slow as hell

Any animal that spawns together with others will spawn on pretty much the same tile. This can be used to determine whether someone has been there before you or not, though I don't know if that provides any advantage in practice.

In other words, yes, it is normal.

The animals you mentioned are herd animals and I consider the appearance of large herds to be normal. A random number of the number of animals in the herd is triggered.
But Scorpios are loners. Have you ever seen this with badgers or wolverines? 10 snakes at one point?

I get it. Thank you.
Yes, it might cause a headache. Or it might be fixed in a minute. Or maybe that's how it's supposed to be. I was simply sharing my observation.
