Baby wild animals

Postby jordancoles » Mon Feb 22, 2016 1:12 am

Occasionally we should be able to find a baby animal with the adult, and if the baby is attacked, the adult should also agro
For example: mouflon should have a chance to spawn with a baby cow beside them

This would be an early way to get maws without the time needed to keep a ranch going
The cheese made would be shit q, and the baby spawns wouldn't be incredibly common, so ranching should still be more desirable for mid-late game

support.

also kind of on the subject: why do badgers fight foxes, but bears don't attack deer? it's just silly to watch them walk up to each other and just stand there, deer should at least run. wildlife expansion please.

badgers are extremly territorials, like, batshit territorials, and it just so happen that everything the sun touches its the badger territory, and they are also pretty aggresive, more than the average animal, not to mention they are carnivore. Bears eat fish and berries, so its not like the deers and such would be troubled by them.

Black bears mostly eat berries and other girly shit but grizzly bears will fuck your shit up
And they're also insanely fast on land

Yeah, good idea ... one slight problem though Jordan, mouflon don't give birth to cows, they give birth to sheep. :P
