Why are Bats so Aggressive?

So I guess it's a way to keep us from settling in caves...

But I've never heard of bats being so aggressive.

It'd be okay if bats acted defensively if provoked (their current attack system), but it would make a lot more sense for them to be skittish when approached like rabbits, flying quickly away -- This would add value to their wing curios.

Now nighttime is a bad time to be out and about, as well as already settled caves being deadly.

This isn't like the odd bear boar or badger in your camp, this is a constant barrage of bats.

Bears have that exact same defense. It's a defense that most animals have actually, now that I think about it. They rarely use it but when they do you either wait it out or break it with cheap, quick punches.

At the very very least, if not changing their natural response to being approached to fleeing like rabbits, maybe make them spawn outside of a certain tile radius from the cave entrance. They're ridiculously strong and aggressive for what is in nature a skittish animal.

They spawn in trees, too. This seems to be fairly rare however. Thankfully.

Maybe they're so aggressive because their parents were killed in front of them when they were young.

Bats are actually a problem. I think it would be better to make surface & undergound level 1 easier (like ants) - they makes exploration and mining very hard. Undeground level 2 and lower bats can be stronger. Also mountain bats can be stronger, because mountain biom means better start to explore.
