Require Yeomanry to Expand Claims

To prevent alt spam to expand claims with discovery lp. This adds an initial buy-in which consumes most of the easy early discovery lp available to alts. By the time that it is convenient and trivial to raise an alt through this cost to expand, it will generally be more convenient or necessary to just use curios instead.

I'm assuming this is a seperate issue from the rebirthing to use discovery LP to expand a claim too? Curious if that one was ever adddressed.

No, same one. It was never addressed and while it's not a huge issue, this idea seemed to make sense to me. It's difficult to argue against it logically even. It doesn't hurt inheriting players in any way as if they're sticking to that character a small buy-in cost is trivial and necessary for other crafts such as cupboards, it doesn't affect players on their first characters negatively, it makes sense that you'd need yeomanry to interact with claims, and it eliminates a large pool of early discovery lp that would otherwise be used to expand a claim. Due to the nature of claim lp cost growth, even a dent of ~2k lp substantially limits how far one can extend a claim via suicide alts.

Sure, you can just load up curios onto the alt and spend those but this adds an input and time cost which removes the immediate nature of this exploit.

I'm kind of surprised that yeomanry is given to the inherit in the first place. I'd be curious to hear the reasoning for this since it seems to be done intentionally. Beyond that I have nothing but agreement that discovery spamming claims seems to be something we don't want as a community.
