as a random suggestions i think it would be badass if we had reeds and the buildings to make oldschool papyrus and have mailboxes we can leave eachother ingame so we can comunicate with people that work/play/live in diffrent timezones in our villages and also to leave work orders for people instead of wasting scarce runestones that can better spent on other things and making lists for our selves and others, sorry im not an artist to make prototypes and help out with it but i strongly recomend/ask for it to be implemented

What if there was some sort of machine that took water and wood blocks/planks and ground them into pulp, which we could then dry into paper?
Papyrus or parchment would work as well, I guess

and with all these new cosmetic diffrences with the wood and stone make a pencil from graphite and a stick? unless they add squid or some other form of ink... like a foragable inkweed? and a chicken feather with a glass vial/container for old fashion inkwells? shit have a village library in bigger villages/towns or even personal ones, maybe treat the pages like they did with keyrings in legacy or refine it a bit like your actually reading the page itself? for the book, 3 string 2 leather/hardleather (1 boneglue to permabind pages to book?)? many options i can see thats worth implementing

2-5 months later or never idm ill still be playing lol it was just a idea that occurred that would be neat but im rather curious on how you and loftar think about this idea tho
