Bumping this because if this were to be re-implemented it should come with some sort of unique solar/lunar cycles during certain times that buff some activities and/or crops.

Is it possible for the client to remember the current session's ground geometry, instead of immediately unloading it when it leaves the normal view bounds/network bubble? The way the client "remembers" minimap tiles. This would improve badcam.
