For example If you had 100 intelligence and die, on your new character every time you would gain 1 intelligence, you instead gain 3 intelligence- until you are at 100 again.

And the LP cost for skills are reduced to 1/3 (Every increase is still the normal scaling, but grants 3x increase until you reach your old levels/near old levels)

Of course, triple is a random number. It could be any number, and could even slowly scale downwards as you reach certain tiers.

This still benefits alt users far more than people who don't use alts.
I would still take this over the existing system though. Dying currently(because I don;t use crafter alts) feels unrecoverable.

Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

I personally don't find having/using alts as unhealthy unless they are used for things like suicide workers/alt spamming enemy bases or rage alts

Maybe i am just weird then, because I refuse to alt.

Ancestral worship was a thing in Legacy, and I'd like to see it return in some capacity or other.

I just hope in a very, very different mechanism.

If anything it should be about regaining your old strength- rising to the same power as your fathers and mothers, not borrowing their strength and aid

I'm just chipping in to say that death should be more forgiving, because as it is everyone is playing this game like a pussy and it's making the game boring. Not to mention all the newbies quitting after they've lost it all.

Right now murder is trivial for the attacker. So if I get it right the suggestion is that it is also made trivial for the victim? That means both killing and dying will be of no consequence?

I'm against this. As I said, it seems more plausible to me that murdering be made more costly instead.

Im starting to think this is probably not for haven. A inherit catchup mechanism is better.
