Discussion on how to stop spammers

Postby overtyped » Wed Dec 23, 2015 10:17 am

Many of you have probably seen those guys spamming our threads for their shitty chinese websites, so i'm here to discuss how to deal with them. Look down below here at this repeat offender, who none seems to be doing anything about. How long will we sit idly by and let this go on?

Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

I'll make sure to IP block myself as soon as I'm done with the thread harvest from the last couple of days.

I'm glad someone is doing something about this growing epidemic.

Dole don't know what you are talking about. Having active developers is great.

Dole doesn't, but that does not mean he isn't capable of doing so, if he were so inclined.
