Burl wood

we have trees, we have stumps, why not add burl? what can we use it for you may ask, NICE PIPES!!!! clay pipes in real life are not the prefered because they get super hot and are very fragile, wooden pipes have been made for hundreds of years now and are prefered for their durability, smoke cooling, and flavor holding. the wild grain making it hard to work would be interesting because it could have a chance to just become junk wood and if you do manage to make a pipe have it be better than clay pipes and make clay pipes heat up as you smoke, too many bowls and you'll burn your fingers or something. could also add a bunch of high end wood products that would be beautiful to behold as well as useful. at least use it as a curio if not for crafting some sweet looking stuff. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burl

Yeah, I've generally thought about more qualitative wood resources from time to time. Could be fun.
