maple syrup

we have the trees, why can we not get the syrup? our pancakes are a little bland.
Newbie and noob do not mean the same thing.

Neither do figuratively and literally.

new food recipes of course. maple pancakes, maybe some kind of maple bread of course.... other shit i dont know about.

Not really the scope of Scandinavia or northern Germany. Honey was the dominate sweet for a very long time.

im just saying since the maple trees are in the game already, why cant we harvest the syrup? you cant tell me that they had maple trees yet never harvested any syrup. even if it wasnt the dominant sweet.

Harvesting maple syrup did not occur in Europe until after Native Americans taught them how to do so.

seriously? wow europeons sound stupid...you'd think they would notice a sweet liquid coming out of a tree that they had to have chopped down at one point...

Birch sap is also good.

Would be cool, but would require trees to be able to equip stuff (birds nests, wild beehives, taps, &c). We have some plans for it that we haven't gotten to.
