Today I'm here to suggest a couple of additions that could be made to make Dream Catchers more interesting.
I'm basically talking about two new types of "Dreams" that could randomly come when you harvest a dream catcher:
A Terrible Nightmare
Could also be attached to an Experience Event. Sometimes, when harvesting dreams, there's a chance you'll harvest a Terrible Nightmare. A Terrible Nightmare could be used as a dream but could also be a curiosity.
I think of it as a medium curiosity, not bad but not really good either.
What would be cool, however, is if you could use the Terrible Nightmares to improve the dream (Seer's) curiosities. Just like when you craft a Cone Cow with a large Hops Cone and it gives you a different item (Hopped Up Cone Cow), crafting the Seer's items with Terrible Nightmares could instead create Corrupted items: Corrupted Bowl, Corrupted Spindle, Corrupted Bones, etc... that would look darker/cooler when dropped/hanged on walls, etc... (maybe the same item but with red or black "magical" effects (which are currently purple)
And the Corrupted Items themselves could be slightly improved versions of those curiosities.
Finally, the chance to get Nightmares could be somewhat related to in-game events. For example, witnessing murder; experiencing wounds; seeing a troll; etc... Those things could slightly "tip" the chance of getting nightmares.
Visions of Ages Past
A golden dream, also possibly attached to an Experience Event.
This special and super rare dream would relate to the ancestors of your characters and its quality could be determined by their average stats, regardless of the dream catcher quality. That is: if you have a q100 dream catcher but no ancestor, if you're lucky enough to get one of these it would be q10. If you have ancestors with average stats 200 and your dream catcher is q40, you'd still get this q200.
This very special dream, which is a vision of your ancestors sent by the gods themselves can also be used to craft Seer's Items but this time giving them a golden magical effect and having them called Ancestral (Ancestral Bones, Ancestral Spindle, Ancestral Bowl, etc...)
These would also be slightly improved curiosities but - more than that - they could be gildings too. Very rare and powerful gildings that can be even more powerful when coming from people with strong ancestors

Anyway, just a couple of ideas.
