To tame animals of average world quality and lower

Similar to seeds and Wild Windsown Weed max quality of which is determined by highest quality crop in the world.
Since taming is quite challenging task its hard to abuse.
It will provide better quality of life for hearthlings that joined late game world, so they are not forced to scavenge and marauding decayed villages for better then 10 quality animals.

Good idea imo, would make it somewhat feasible to catch up for people that start later on without the need of buying a pair of each.
Perhaps not world average since most animals are probably lowql trash and it would incentivize people to keep their lowql animals to lower the average (i know you fuckers would do it, do not lie to me), but like world top ql divided by 2 or something similar.

Removing the breeding quality stat would make animal breeding a lot less autistic

Also the WWW catchup mechanic doesn't work

I imagine it is supposed to be autistic that way, so it stagnate quality raise.

Ye probably, but it doesn't do anything to reign in top autists. I can get avg 19.5-19.8ish per generation currently, and it'd only go up to 19.99 without BQ. A normal village probably gets like 10-15 with slower generations.

I agree there should be a catchup mechanic. It's silly you could join the world after 12 months and simply never be able to have competitive animals, even if you spend the next 12 months tryhard herding. That said, in the short term removing BG would probably make animal quality across the board a lot closer as well as make manually herding more enjoyable.
