The ability to process soil and water into a new clay type

I think it would be worthwhile to adding a tool/utility made primarily from cloth that acts as a sieve for where you can use "Loose Mud" (a new fluid object made by combining water and soil) to make clay that's quality is based on your soil and water quality and Masonry skill. This would allow another way for people to acquire higher quality clay if they are struggling to find some nearby. This tool/utility could also be used as another way to make another type of fine clay with the addition of more ingredient(s). Just a thought.

If i remember correctly this was a thing in Salem, but it would be nice to have it here also

This is actually how you get clay irl because there is always some. But this process is pretty laborous, check it online it's called clay wet processing and I think it should be thing in haven.

I'm sure it could easily be tweaked and balanced in a way where that's not that case. Also make it require high amounts of soil and water per unit of clay and make the sieving process take a lot of time and energy.

Exactly what I was thinking of. It's such a common thing that's been done since the dawn of civilization that it seems strange that it's not an option for acquiring clay in game. I'd want the process to be pretty time and material intensive for the sake of balance and realism.

All it takes is soil, water and time. The production will be scaled up and botted so your downsides wont really be a hindrance. Energy is not a problem at all.
Guaranteed, with your implementation, this will be the only clay used endgame.

Feel free to suggest something realistic and I'll tell you if its good or not.
