Cutthroat Kris (metal dagger)

I'd love to see more Cutthroat equipment. A metal dagger, made of hard metal or wrought iron, would be cool to see. We already have the perfect model, the one you see in crates and small chests and whatever. It could just be the same as an obsidian dagger but with more armor pen and grievous damage.
Total misplay.

thing is, any additional weapons, that require hard metal, are not early game versions, but competitors with other weapons,

and the lategame pvp playerbase, aswell as jorbtar have prooven multiple times, they never want the b12 meta to end, and find it impossibly difficult to even balance 2 weapons against eachother.

unless this changes, there never will be any weapon that actually fits itself intoo the bronzesword/borspear => hirdsman/b12 progression,
i mean, there are what? 5 weapons already in the game, not counting pickaxes, they all prefer to be unusable trash, instead of threatening the fickle balance, between the 2 usable weapons you have after discovering hardmetal.

that applies similarily to any new combat move, or stance you would want to enable with that,
allthough it would be cool to have like dagger+weapon fencing or brawling, as soon as some pvp player gets recked by a parry player, they wake up jorb, and spamm his inbox.
and your cool new shit gets nerfed the day after, ontop of the pile of unusable trash, firmans swords, and woodsmans axes are burried under.

You misunderstood, I don't want a new weapon to compete in the meta. I just want a cool dagger to hang on my wall.

Bronze Sword usually tends to be the best of the swords, hird/fyrd not as good.

I think a dagger made out of bronze or cast iron could be a good usage of the new metal timings though.

when would that be used? if you have bronze its going to have to compete with bronze swords, wich not even steel swords are allowed too , untill the quality spiral picks up massively.

and cast iron, aside from being a very bad choice to make a blade from, would be unlocked after bronze swords,

if this was a game with multiple cool and differing weapons options, that offer different playstyles. yes, new cool weapons would be nice, but thats not the case is it?.

the moment somebody unironically uses a weapon that isnt a b12, there will be more complaints going intoo jorbs pms, than there are players in total, and its nerfed the next day.

we currently have more unusable weapons in the game, than usable ones. and half the combat moves are noobtraps.

That's just kind of it this game has soooo many variations and varieties of food and curios and just everything but it seems that pvp/combat limits any of the incredible additions and boils it down to running/water/one weapon/one maneuver and I have no good idea to fix it but it seems all the pvp voices advocate to leave it that way
