Remove hunger% reduction from questing

Does anyone even actually like questing? I feel like we could just skip a few steps and remove questing all together

before they give you hungerreduction, it feels like there is no rewards for it.
a bit exp and lp, and a gilding rock for +1 lore arent what i would call great rewards for hours of walking and doing dumb shit.

but to be fair, it gives the average spucaped foraging/hunting/fishing/whatever run some direction,

its a bit better than just "wander aimlessly untill my inventory is full of bluberrys" wich is most of the gameplay for your average spuce.

Yes, but they tend to be oddball hermits for the most part. I think what reibar said is why. Hermits get stuck in the "foraging" stage of the world while most developed villages completely eclipse it. And if you're wandering around anyway, questing is just a bonus to your normal activity.

You can definitely get some nice gilds out of it, though that is a rather rare occurrence. The LP/XP is not that bad really especially in the early game when like 1k XP here, 3k LP there, every once in awhile is fairly substantial and those rewards do seem to grow somewhat as "quest progression" goes further.

However, they STILL have not fixed the issue of getting out-of-season quest tasks which I find incredibly annoying and the quest tasks and rewards are never scaled appropriately. You're being asked to hunt and kill things on a character that has no points in unarmed/melee combat/marksmanship, or you're lighting fires and swimming naked at 500 unarmed. Apart from the only difference being in how far you have to travel between quest givers (which I wouldn't say is a positive to questing either), there's no feeling of advancement no matter how many you do.

5000 quests later and ultimately you're still just walking an hour to wave at Bumblebooger or whatever for anything ranging from 50 experience points to 1000 learning points, gilding rock dex +1, a board left lying around, etc. Maybe the reward will be better, but there is absolutely no guarantee that the reward received will be worth the time and effort invested.

Honestly just don't have any form of hunger reduction in the whole game.
Let hunger be what hunger was always supposed to be: A comeback mechanic(?) to those who play less(I assume?).

Ish, doesn't really work that way. Once you fall behind you will never catch up. Think of it more as a boost to casual players than anything. Stat equalization is the real catch up/come back mechanic.

Probably too much to ask RN, but IMO the ideal for hunger would be for it to go down in one big tick every few days. The amount it goes down could scale with your highest stat vs. world leader.

EX: top stated boi goes from 20%>100%, mid stated boi goes from 50%>200%, very low stated boi goes from 50%>300%

I actually love this idea.

Symbel could also use a durability buff, it just explodes so quickly since you can eat so many small things now.

I agree
