Ish, doesn't really work that way. Once you fall behind you will never catch up. Think of it more as a boost to casual players than anything. Stat equalization is the real catch up/come back mechanic.

Probably too much to ask RN, but IMO the ideal for hunger would be for it to go down in one big tick every few days. The amount it goes down could scale with your highest stat vs. world leader.
EX: top stated boi goes from 20%>100%, mid stated boi goes from 50%>200%, very low stated boi goes from 50%>300%
