while we are at it. wagon weels should break every once in a while. giving you a large curio, and some bruises before you repair it.

+1, while we're at it I'd love to see debilitating/paralyzing birth defects on new characters. we could even make wheelchairs out of hard metal to push our less fortunate hearthmates around. And inheriting from that character will give a 50% chance of coming back on the new one

An additional thing that would be fun, while we're at it, is very rarely while you're in a swamp and you catch a dragonfly Shrek spawns in and aggroes you (it's stronger than a lvl 9 troll, faster than 4th speed horse and swims faster than knarr). It yells "WHAT ARE YE DOIN' IN ME SWAMP" (doesn't kill you though via execution and respects KO protection). All wounds inflicted are a new wound called 'SHREKT' which are permanent and give -10 to all attributes and skills.

+1 and can we add a random chance that when chopping a tree it has a chance to fall the wrong way and land on you with the same effect as a cave-in. It'd instantly KO you but you'd get a curiosity called brain blood.

Please o please, let me experience the Joy of getting your first ore deposit while chopping trees as well.

i dont get why its just considedered normal for a farmer, that is actively at their screen, to not be able to defeat an eagle or whatnot.

i´d take a chance to spawn a dungeon bee, out of an beehive, over randomly stacking and allergic wounds.
add some random mediocre curio to it that scales in quality. and you actually have worthwhile sideproduce.
