It contradicts the purpose of the mechanic. Just do it.
Anti autistic grind mechanic shouldnt be countered by more autistic grind.
This includes not only quest rewards but also symbel and salt.

Stats don't raise crazy fast and satiations limiting means if you want top tier gains you have to interact with all the possible food content in game.
There is still room to add a catch up mechanic similar to snails suggestion something that takes top stat guy into account.
Ive seen both noobs and experienced players complain about someone having higher stats than them so this change shouldn't be too controversial.
