To my understanding, there's somewhat of a consensus here on the forums that Rat Dungeons need to be nerfed in terms of Needleswords and Cheese they drop.

While this does raise the question of why Hearthlings can't just build their own spools, it would be a great way to compensate the aforementioned nerfs and keep the dungeon as relevant content.
