Hafen on Steam

Postby LordD1 » Sun Sep 06, 2015 9:48 am

I know Jorbtar don't really like Steam, mostly loftar from what I remember.
However, I've seen lately on the forums that some people have problems paying via paypal due to not having a bank account, etc or whatever the excuse.

If Hafen was on steam they could easily use their steam wallet to pay for subscriptions, etc.
Just a thought.

And for those that don't have a steam account or steam wallet, if you need money on your steam wallet you can just go to store and buy a steam gift card and then enter the code on steam and get your $20 or whatever. I'd suggest maybe Jorbtar look deeper into Steam.

I'd say the introduction of the store has changed things enough to make this discussion more relevant now. Seatribe is actually selling a product now, so going on Steam is no longer pointless.

Its not that simple you just add it to greenlight and then boom its on steam. They need to do A LOT of stuff before it could be used on steam.

There's no such thing as Hafen. This thread is invalid.

I don't think they need a bulldozer to make a sandcastle.

Thank Trey Parker and Matt Stone.

Being on steam is not free, and it's work, and none of us like it, and I feel it's a great distribution platform for a single player game, but we intrinsically need to have our own platform anyway, &c&c&c. Steam does not feel like a priority.
