It might give some immersion if a surv<10 character has problems lighting a fire, but to have developed characters falling repeatedly (last time I needed 4 tries) is just visibly annoying them.

Took me 9 tries. 6 tries fail on the smelter and it didn't light then I realized my stam was low took 3 tries to light my fire I took like 30 starvation damage.

I've begun to wonder if this has something to do with wood type. Obviously sticks don't visually indicate what type of tree they came from, but it's possible that they do have a hidden value for it. Just thinking, because I have had a firebrand burn down on me before I was able to light something literally only twice since the beginning of the world. Could just be luck, or there could be more behind this than is evident.

I am OK with the firebrand. I guess I just have not had much bad luck with it.
