I miss the day/night cycle display from legacy...

It will probably make a return at some point. We want to fix the sky-texture so you can at least see the sky reflected in the water.

I am aware of your thoughts on bad cam, jorb, but is there any way to change the color of the black skybox? If it's possible to just set a hex color to it, it would look better than pure black since you can sometimes see it even when standing on a modest hill with ortho cam. It would be interesting to see a function for daylight to dark night colors.

:D I look at the shadows of the trees/buildings. They getting to be near due West well then.. its Morning ! ;)

I pushed for this once, but the experiment convinced me that black is better. A lot of the time you aren't seeing sky where black is presently rendered, for example when looking through a hill or whatever, and blue looks crap in such situations. Black is generally neutral, at least.
