Barley and rock crystals

It's probably been said a thousand times but here I'm again.

Barley its so necessary that its counterproductive to make it regional. Without it players dont have acces to straw and so everything depending on it like beehives, beewax, chicken coops etc.
Without the wax its a nightmare to craft wax and then you depend on how many times you connect and play a day and how far you are from multiple swamps. Building a minehole depends on it and using just caves suck a lot.
This could be helped with local trading, but at this stage everybody needs it and not all the people is friendly and this can lead to your death while trying to met people.
Barter stones are a solution, but since they require crystal stones its nearly impossible to build. I can understand how devs try to make progressions slower but this is a total failure.Big factions have probably acces and posesion of those crystals and so they have reached their objective while other people just suffer the lack of it.
Please make barley easyer to get and crystals spawn in normal caves or lower levels.
This part of the game is the worst one for me.

PD: In order to build a minehole with just swamp wax you need to gather 100 candleberrys. It sucks.

You need to walk to a charterstone anyway to use it. They're pretty much useless except for connecting allied villages for regular teleports. For once or twice off trades, they make very little difference.

You also need a lot of charisma to travel even modest distances.

There is also the complaint that nobody wants to trade because it is easy for villages to get everything they need by themselves.

I think it is good to have some things that are hard to get, there should be more of these things tbh, as it encourages cooperation with others.

People are always going to complain if they cant get it, doesnt mean it needs to be taken as serious critique it is more like whining.

True, but in the current state there is no incentive to trade.
You either have it all, or you lack something.
there is no : You have this and I have this, we should trade!
No it's : Hahaha the stuff I have is objectively better and yours is optional at best!
Get rekkt noob.

I agree with that and in the last world i made some threads and posts asking for a regional division of the seeds and stuff. The problem is that Barley its very important because 1/4 of the industry depends on it: straw, flour, beewax, beehives, oven outputs...
It's a mistake. Other things should be this way, but not this one.
Also trading would be encouraged with the teleporting system.

Is there a way of introducing such stuff in the game without pushing people towards boting (unique character features, skills etc. aren't an option here)? If it is something that spawns naturally - it can be obtained by a big village cause they have alot of people resorces and probably botting. If it is something that is crafted - then most likely only the quality grind is what matters, again making trade irrelevant if you are the one who grinds. And if you are not - then most likely you have nothing to offer to a person who grinds...

It can be something that is developed within the village. Like in many other games there are clan quests and some kind of points that can be put into development of the whole village. And if one chosen option closes another option - it would encourage to trade with other villages. But again, it solves nothing for hermits...
