Travelling with outlaw shouldn't be disabled

Postby MadNomad » Thu Jun 16, 2016 9:59 pm

Outlaw debuff prevents from using charterstones and i think it could be limited to redhanded debuff only.
It understand it prevents people from running away after raids etc., but redhanded debuff is already long enough to prevent from doing it and i don't see any logic if outlaw disabled travelling via charterstone while allowing to travel to hf.
It really disturbs to be inable to use charterstone for few days just because of leaving scents so please consider this devs.

This discussion was held several times. There are pros and cons.. Devs probably decided its better not being able to port while outlawed.
Not life, but good life, is to be chiefly valued.

Yeah, i realised too late so i made new thread, but later i found one topic about exactly the same thing. Why didn't devs fix it yet anyway?

Idea is that you cant raid in all corners of the world in very short amount of time without using time to travel.

Redhanded debuff is long enough, maybe disable walking or limit us to slowest speed for leaving scents too? ¦] and if they really want to disable using charterstone with outlaw they should disable hf travel too!!! ¦]

The reasoning behind this is to disable vault hopping, which in prior worlds made it impossible to apply justice to criminals.

I think its still quite easy to evade justice because of mechanics. If you are part of relativelystrong village. You can pretty much roam around killing and raiding everyone. And NO ONE can siege you succesfully, maybe few factions from whole world. But current mechanics dont encourage you to do it.

They should implement it like this:
Each time you do crime, your movement speed will decrease by 1% because of heavy mental weight that making crimes causes. Your movement speed will regenerate back with speed of 1%/hour.

exactly, but values should be changed to 90% of current speed for tresspassing and more for other crimes, and they should regenerate back with speed of 0,1%/month ¦]

no tbh we shouldn't have penalty without good reason
