I agree with you.
I suggested earlier to fix destroy icon (sledgehammer instead of picaxe). Devs don't give a shit.
Good luck m8.

you know, I do programming as well. I want my apps to be perfect. I always fix any (even little cosmetic) issues. That is a question more related to the dev's attitude to the product rather than the problem itself.

The entire face texture is pretty shitty, probably because it's not ever meant to be seen anyway since bad cam is unsupported. I always thought some sort of idol animation with the eyes blinking every few seconds would make a hearthling's gaze much more human and much less terrifying. Kind of getting an uncanny valley vibe from it rn.

This idea is very good. I support the idea, as I too, am particular about things.

You do programming, right?
Client is open source and on github. Just fix it and make a pull request.

Same goes for all 3D modelling, although it would require digging into the forums and finding the guides on decoding/encoding Hafen models - it's a bit overcomplicated.

If you want to give examples of our lazy and poor attitude, I think you can find a lot of better examples than a complete non-issue of zero consequence what-so-ever. There are a lot of very big projects we could engage in -- seasons, freeform building, &c&c&c -- and minor graphical "issues" -- that I for that matter have no recollection of receiving, though I may well have missed or forgotten it -- may, in that context, indeed find themselves severely triaged on the dev-night chopping floor.

The game uses 5258 resources, and every last one of them could be improved upon.

There is no such thing as perfection in the mortal realm.

I'd love a blinking animation, but it is kind of a big deal, and would require some broader approach to how the character texture is handled both programatically and in terms of resource handling. We've discussed it/similar from time to time, but it hasn't seemed worth our time yet.
