I think someone should see a doctor...
“We still, alas, cannot forestall it-
This dreadful ailment's heavy toll;
The spleen is what the English call it,
We call it simply, Russian soul.”

An idea to consider: Tedium, a Feature.

I could finally make kosher meat dishes, if I could drain the blood...

I approve of black pudding and draining blood to be made useful. How about injecting animal blood to regain HHP?
"...the dungeon and shackles are already at my threshold to show me here and now my eternal disgrace. Only you can work the miracle to make life possible for a soul so imperiled by doubt, O Atoner for all, exalted beyond saying." - St. Gregory of Narek, Book of Lamentations, Prayer 1.

You are much loved! Love in return!

Thats not how blood works. Add some hearth magic to it and it makes sense though.

Seems OP, even with high xp cost. Don't like your nasty Wretched Gore, and don't want to use an Ancient Root or a Stitch Patch? Just inject some magic-infused Sheep blood and heal your spilling organs, albeit the Ancient Root does the same in terms of heailing.
