iv recently read idea about global chat but i suggest it be realm chat instead, iv been trying to connect with others in my realm but im not in village or whatever that controls it, would be nice to be able to communicate with others in realm or mabye like a message board thing that takes an hour or so to post (as if bird flew in message or something) just the ability to communicate and cordinate with other in realm would be awsome

I am actually against it. The enemy factions may enter the kingdom and fool people inside of the realm chat making them believe that it is one of the realm holders speaking. Consequently, people will abuse the chat and will be inclined to use the skype conferences only.

Agreed, some controls need to be placed on it, ideally under the control of the ruling faction. Maybe the ability to mark trusted/known landholders with titles while marking anyone else as a guest. Else they'll just be abused too easily for it to be of any meaningful use to anyone.

Only reasonably safe way that this could work is if only lawspeakers of villages in the realm could use it. That way it could at least help with relations between villages, but this would stop hermits from taking part in the chat. It may still be abused, it would just make it harder to do so.

I don't think this handholding is necessary.
Realm chat to whoever is in it. It would still add a lot of fun.
Deception and lies are a feature of realm chat.

Agreed, I'm all for a realm wide chat.
Just add a tag from what people will be able to distinguish if the player is a realm member or not, maybe color the name green in the chat or something, that would mean that they could be somewhat trustable.
