I've been doing business at Sevilla community market. Currently they have area which works almost like Providence works in Salem. Combination on visitor buff and Field cairn allow everybody to trade using a container. Problem is that Theft has to be enabled and it allows people to steal the containers as well.

Container could fill some useful niche in other situations as well if it requires only boards and is balanced by taking multiple tiles. Maybe call it "bin" or "shed."

I agree that some presumably large unmovable/liftable container is missing from the game.

Dude I got rekt by a manlet.
Wagon fills the criteria of OP.
You need a bull to drive away with it. Don't trade with people who happen to have a leashed bull with them.
Or you could make a new thing entirely. Just reuse wagon but knock the wheels off.
I call it immobile trade unit aka ur mum.

With this way of thinking we wouldnt even need the game.

Something easy to make~ and easy to break.

Ie we should have trade tables.
2 boxs - both push the trade button to trade.
the table can be a log.

Im done with the era where we dont have systems in the game.
8 years has shown us that people are asshats and will abuse the system w/e the fk chance they get.

So up with the systems to give a semi order to the game
