Bed and better healing

Postby tyrtix » Wed Sep 28, 2016 4:47 am

Seeing the recent changes and the armor piercing damage, i think that using beds to log off and get a "buff" in healing some wounds could be really cool, especially for noobs that may have difficulties in finding healing items.

I would be happy in case it would deal with concussions.

i think it's easy to find wich wounds would heal faster when log back: it just reduces the timer used for check the healing wound, or apply more ticks when logging back, based on how much you slept (using server uptime and log off time, already present); in this way we also heal just the wounds that heals overtime.
This kind of mechanics also gives some advantage to non-botting or casual players that have less time to play, as you need to be logged off to have the advantage.
I think that also a small, scalable buff can be applied while logging back, such as better chances in finding fate curios or things like that.

I'd like to see that quality and materials of the bed also affects the recovery speed (for the travel buff too)

It does, but a q40 bed recovers just as fast as a q10
