Minimap horse icon

I always lose my horse. These icons would be useful to find them. Maybe it should be/already implemented in some custom clients, but my client (pasta) still does not support this feature.

Your horse may not be standing still, though.

other animals with icons move around on the minimap just fine so I don't see why it would need to stand still

My interpretation of OP was that he loses his horse out of rendering distance, in which case those icons wouldn't help and that the icon should just linger or something, but maybe that was a misunderstanding. It seems difficult to "lose" one's horse inside rendering distance, though.

It happens I guess and more often than it would with a sheep or cow since you're not normally taking those out as often as a horse. Domestic animals like to hide behind things.

This guy is right. Also, there is another problem. Once I fought with a bear ahorseback and bear knocked me. Then it beat my horse, and horse ran away. When I woke up I had to go with fully zoomed out veiw and look around to find my horse. So, it would be useful in case when your horse has gone out of rendering box too.

This might be annoying inside the village where you could possibly have dozens of horses.

This. Tamed horses will come to you when called ... whistling one seems like a nice addition. :)

And, yeah, all the animals run off and hide, that wagon trip with the girls last year was mainly spent looking for the stupid cows that had broken their leash getting stuck on everything and then running off in the opposite direction! :x
