so i got this through my armor (400AC) and it made me scratch my head shouldn't the damage be lower?
have nothing against archery myself but for 90% of players (those who don't bot anyways) that would be a knockout shot rigth there and that archer is obviously a cheater(bot abuser) having perc so insanely high and since the devs are taking a harder stance against botters they should probably do something
anyways, thoughts on ranged damage?

Just make attributes when they get past certain level, lets say 400 or something, the effectiveness of every point that goes in the attribute is lowered 10x or so times, so it would be the most effective to go 400, 400 and botted 2k attributes won't be much of a difference then. You wouldn't see such shenanigans as 900 dmg shots.

I think same have to be with b12/swords then. Why we have to nerf only 1 weapon. Lets nerf everything. Because nowadays b12 can do 2000 dmg with cleave~

Bows can do 2000 damage too, you just need enough perception. And to deal 2000 damage with cleave you need to get like 100% openings that takes a lot of time and your opponent can get rid off them or your opponent can run away etc.

I know that everyone knows it, but I guess he needs special treatment becouse he is writing that stuff for like 5th time already

i'm actually a strong proponent of ranged combat and I think you guys are wrong it's a fun system, even tough i don't like how you can change aim so quickly that's what allows people to just aim at the portrait which is lame but lets not get into that right now
the point is for regular players with regular stats right now bow are balanced. me for example i can hit someone wearing a good armor set for like 100, and i think it's fair damage, the problem is that there's no limit to how perception can affect the damage
i liked the system that we had before better when higher perc would only allow you to approach the maximum damage(determined by the bow q only) but you couldn't go beyond that, i think that would be a perfect solution right now
because there's always be that kid with bots and plenty of spare time to get million points perception and one shot everyone :roll:
