Repair material of boats

Should be changed to tar(sticks).

Maybe rowboat should require tar to be constructed as well. Maybe even metal for these things.

New boat that you could carve out of log should be added. It would only hold 1 person and move at walking/running speed.

Should rowboat take stamina to move too?

Stamina drain could also be added. It would not have to be that big though. To move without stamina drain you would have to utilize wind.
Also oars should be added.
You need two of them on each hand to be able to use rowing boat.
They would be made just from blocks and boards.

2 oars on each hand?
so 4 oars per person?
how do you envision this? :D

You need two of them, one on each hand to be able to use rowing boat.

Sentence above might be in more sensible form.

It has long been the intention that boats should need tar. This will happen at one point or another.

This will make it hard for newbies to get mobile unless swimming is made a little more forgiving. Right now a new player /needs/ a boat in order to safely move around the map and find a home.

Some simple slow, small and cheap thing should be implemented so you could cross small rivers. Like a mini-raft made of blocks and some tatching material. It would be same as the raft, but only 1 person would fit in it.
You could cross small waters such as rivers, but it would be so slow that you could not use it for rowing around with high speeds.

Can we have a simple canoe before that happens? Like, a hole in a log? Needs a paddle to be held by the player to operate.
