Prayer for crafters?

With numen back in the game I was hoping there would be some non-pvp application. Since there is a prayer to increase combat abilities, why not crafting abilities too? That seems reasonable.

Only time people used the old crafting prayers was to abuse it by killing their crafter character. (see: seed prayers and metal prayers)

It doesn't need to be an exact equivalent to einherjar. It doesn't need to be something related exclusively to crafting stats either. They could be prayers that give us a temporary magic scythe that harvests 180°, + 1-15 quality to the next item crafted by the player, or an extra gilding slot on something.

But a prayer for metal quality could be interesting too. Xcom's numen zero project involved a lot of work and a modified version of those mechanics could make a crafter's gameplay much more exciting. Some of us only play with crafters, after all.

Fair enough - although you know this isn't exactly true, especially for hermits.

But just because there is a system to encourage fighters to fight, why not use that same system to encourage crafters to craft?

Doesn't really encourage crafters to craft, just crafters to abuse them if they're abusable.

Sawing ones knee slightly while cutting boards, pricking your finger on a spinning wheel, splinters, ect.... there is a good list of possable wounds even crafters can get, that could even get inftected.
