More stockpiles

Postby Zullael » Mon May 15, 2017 6:52 pm

I want to suggest adding new types of stockpiles for:

1) Cucumbers (big 1x2 crop). People usually farm them in large quantities, but they are very annoying to handle. Maybe 30 or 60 per stockpile?

2) River pearl mussels. I suggest a big stockpile for them, as bringing large chest for them is kinda silly. Storing rows of cupboards of them is even more unappealing. Pearlhunting must not be boring because of the inventory management. 60 or 150 per stockpile maybe? Or ability to place them into buckets?

3) Wax. Cubboard's inside, that looks like another beehive is not appealing at all. I suggest a crafting recipe for 'molded wax' (in a similiar manner to metal bars), what will look like tablets or bars. https://4.imimg.com/data4/IG/XU/MY-5844 ... 50x250.jpg

Or just a pile of malformed wax

4) Fresh meat stockpile. Looking at the big pile of meat after a long hunt is very satisfying! Besides, meat is the only 'butcher-drop', that cannot be placed in a stockpile. Maybe around 60 pieces of meat per stockpile? It will help sorting out butchered meat in a big degree.

4) Different type of stockpile for entrails please. Right now its pretty much as mixing coal with dolomite - these are not the same.

Stockpiles for everything, infinite capacity.

more stockpile i assume prob be added eventually for some stuff (prob not all)but the mixxing effect of "guts and stuff" i hated at 1st but now i do kinda like it, you can see who is orgainized or noob or maybe does not use "guts", is a small indicator of what type of player it is, is small but combined with other stuff mabye can learn about someone with out acually talking to them

Peas and cucumbers...

Peas I would prefer to dry on the herbalist table and store in barrels as other seeds. Dry peas can go to the soup (peas + meat + water + plate).
Cucumbers I would prefer to salt in barrels (cucumbers + salt + water).

And the fish in principle could be dried on the drying frame and marinated, but this is secondary.
Excuse me, I don't speak English.

I do agree though that we should at least have a stockpile for all of the various bulky crops. We have one for nearly every non-seed stacking crop, just a couple are missing. So a cucumber and a hops pile make sense, peppers too maybe.

Just makes sense for consistency.

Ah, I would love to see pickles added to the game. Could also do stuff like pickled fish/eggs/other veggies. Also think drying fish and meat would be good for new players to have slightly more variety in their FEPs.

As for stockpiles, I wish boards would go up to 40 so that I could load a tar kiln with them in one wheelbarrel trip instead of just getting 30.

You should be able to take the missing ones in your inventory by a combination of merchants robe, traveller sacks and the advantages regarding inventory expansion that come with verificytion and subscription.
