Salem's KO system DOES NOT WORK HERE. (Not that it works for Salem either.)

+1 Perma-death was this game's strong point, now it's gone.
Total misplay.

Just curious: what's the point of bringing it back? What have you lost with it? What will it bring back for you personally?

This question you should be answer by yourself if you have played this game for a long time, It is not the game it use to be in a lot of ways. Im not saying it needs to go back to the way it was in w8 or even w4-5, Im just saying, getting chased down the river by a couple guys in boats use to be fun, a lot of people didnt quit after dying, it gave them a reason to play more. Raiding/ Robbing/Killing no longer exists. Even in salem beta, those were the glory days. Now this is basically farmville 2.0, no one has a reason to leave the walls of the base, and even if they do there is no aspect of fear, no adrenaline.

Bring the fun back, bring the players back. Maybe it shouldnt be as hard as it was, but it for sure doesnt need to be as ridiculous as it is now and I think that is a pretty reasonable request.
If you kill someone they should be dead, grinding stats and ability's isn't exactly hard, let alone dying and being able to gain 90% back.

Well, i'm asking one of you just because i've asked myself already. I like the KO system just because the only valuable thing here is your character.

You can still lose your base and all shiny things you own, you even still can be killed, you just won't stay without your character and won't be thrown back to stick picking. Player base here is not 100% hardcore and most of them won't be excited or smth like that after death (note, they can die still). They also won't be excited to start from scratch picking q1 branches after wearing the b12.
I also understand you: chasing someone and KO-ing them won't be so cool anymore as you know that on the other side of the world ass is not on fire and just waiting to jump home. But that's what the balance is: you still can punch random people, random people can still play after that. And everyone gets what he came for.

You want permakeel - we should start a brawling club at the Community Fair: you come there, put your HF on the scene and there is no way to hide. I'm pretty sure you'll have to wait for an opponent for a pretty long time.

Honestly i think it makes the game more enjoyble the fact that we can still live even after our face is smashed in with b12. and you can still die if hhp is low enough.
as long as you are smart and dont carry keys for raiders to take, you should be fine and your base will not get raided, unless ofc they track your scents find your base and break in. Then they sit over your hf and smile. i think that is the objective now though. idk. lol

KO is great for the free players without any bonus, stats and ql come relatively slowly because the benefits of bonus adds up over time

The seige system is a completely separate POS, one fight at a time I suppose.
In my eyes, you cant end someone. Which use to be in my personal opinion the biggest selling point of HnH.

If you cant kill them, you cant rob them what is the point. Grind Q endlessly? Get 4000 base stats and do nothing with them?
This is literally what pvp has turned to in HnH https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c4j4Iu8 ... e=youtu.be
10 dudes hitting one dude for half an hour, its ridiculous.

If you are a noob like i was W3 or 4 you get wrekt a couple times and you work you're way up in the world, joining a village then a better one. I dont know, it just seems like the game is taking a turn for the worst. Loosing everything it was built upon.

It seems to me, that every PvP Pro plyer's only advice is "Join a Village" there are many of us that DO NOT want to join a village. So... yeah do as suggested, you want to PvP to Kill, then do as suggested, make a place where you can gather, put up HF's there and bang your shields and swing your swords to your hearts content, and lets not try to lump all players into the same mold as what YOU like.

Perhaps, reworking siege system should include permadeath HM?

There's less "pro" players that want permadeath than more "newbies" who doesn't want to. You're just minority in that.

While yes, game is less "exciting" when You know, it is HARDER to bring You back to 0, it is still possible with some tenderness in your black hearth.
While no, game is more "enjoyable" that way for bigger player base.

But yet, we are starting to get into griniding loop, but many MMOs suffer from this and players still play.

Reworking a siege system could be a big comeback for "pro" scene here, so why not work together on that, hm?
That way, You will have your permadeath at some point.

or FFS just make that if You buy rage and vandalism, You are affected by permadeath
